I’m a total shoe hoarder. I keep buying shoes and can’t throw any away. Even the converse I’ve had since 10th grade, the ones with the holes on the side and the orange spray paint stains, yeah I still have them. Even though my mom offered to buy new ones if I throw these out, but I said no. I can’t part with them. I love every pair even the ones I never wear. But they’re starting to spill out the tub I have them in and taking over the rest of my room. The worst part is I keep buying high heels and I wear heels maybe once a week and usually just my black one. But I find a pretty shoe for a good price and it’s mine. I know it’s a total girl thing but guess what I’m a girl! I can’t help it. One day I want a big closet to put them all in like the one I saw in a magazine, it belonged to Paris Hilton and it was beautiful…One day.

I feel like everybody keeps saying how annoyed they are by this whole Royal Wedding buisness. But I am completley fasinated by the whole thing. Maybe it’s because I’m a sucker for a good love story and fairy tales-yes I still believe in fairy tales. I’ve been preparing all week by watching every British, royal, and wedding movies I could find. I can’t get enough. To be honest I’m more excited to see what Kate wears, I’m a total fashion geek and I’m sure it won’t disappoint. I’m glad it’s William getting married, Harry is the better looking one. HA.

Roommates

I have no idea how they decide how to place roommates together in dorm rooms. But almost 5 years ago the dorm gods put me with Kim Shelby. At first I had to idea why, we had nothing in common and said maybe 4 sentences to each other the first 2 months. But somehow something changed. Somewhere between my obsession with Joe Jonas and her need for models we bonded. By the end of our second semester we were inseparable. On our floor every single room had gone through a roommate change at least once except for Kim and I. The next year we moved off campus together and our friendship grew even more. Even when she would drive me crazy leaving lights on at 6 in the morning or the trail of clothing that looked like vomit coming from her closet I knew she was passionate and that is what I most admire about her. She would organize photo shoots to prefect her passion for photography and this year she did what she’s been dreaming about for as long as I’ve known her and longer. She made a movie, it’s a trailer for her version of the Hunger Games and she did brilliant. I may be biases since she’s one of my top 5 favorite people on the planet but it is truly great. I can’t wait to see what she does next.
